Harris Academy Chafford Hundred, Essex
A key area of focus for the academy’s management team is the maintenance of clear communications within its corridors and communal spaces. The school ‘bell’ is fundamental to the smooth operation of the timetable, with HACH placing strong emphasis on punctuality to ensure that students take maximum advantage of teaching time.
With this in mind, the HACH team engaged AV solutions provider Excite AV of Bishops Stortford to install a system which offered intuitive head-end control and optimal loudspeaker placement, in order to ensure the timely movement of students around the school. With more than 50 years of combined experience, Excite AV is a preferred supplier of the Harris Federation, which runs 52 primary and secondary academies across London and Essex.

High performance bell and audio solution to help with children between class change.
We were asked to supply a modern day bell system with the addition of being able to play classical music following the bell for Harris Academy, Chafford Hundred.
Every hour at the Harris Academies’ they have class change and that’s where the bell / audio system comes into play.
Our original contact with the Harris Academy group came through previous projects, and this was the next one in the line of the rollout of the bell system.
Our bell system solution is fantastic for Academies’, school’s & university corridor walkways.
The system consists of the headend control equipment, which is in the server rooms, which controls the zones of the speakers and microphones.
Following on from completing Harris Academy, South Norwood, we were asked to commission a system at Harris Academy, Chafford Hundred for the walkways and corridors within this Academy for the group.
