Improving the meeting rooms that IOD hire out to their clients with state-of-the-art audio-visual technologies.
Over the past 3 years we have worked with The IOD to bring their meeting and conference room up to scratch.
The rooms were outdated with their current AV equipment, therefore Paul Barratt, Head of Maintenance from IOD asked us to attend site to discuss upgrade options for each room, starting with an SLA to checklist all AV kit in the meeting rooms, followed by recommendations for upgrades.
Elevating Meeting Experiences: Institute Of Directors’ AV Technology Upgrades
After initial assessment of the IOD’s meeting rooms, we collated information onto an excel spreadsheet to create a strategic plan for upgrades in priority order.
This mainly consisted of putting proposals forward to Paul to upgrade the small meeting rooms on the third floor. Including BOSE VB1 video bars for the TV screens, cabling and HDMI – USB C Input plates for laptop connection.
The client’s request was to have small hybrid meeting rooms that they could run teams and zoom calls on with third party room hirer laptops. This is exactly what we achieved in the first phase of the upgrades.
In some of the small meeting rooms we also replaced the screens and bracketry.
Later down the line in further room upgrades we looked at the main training conference suite where we added an 80” screen to the room for maximum viewing for the guests and staff training.
This also included a BOSE VB1 Videobar, cabling infrastructure and a HDMI – USB C connection for laptop video conferencing control.
