Excite Technology completed the design, supply and installation of a new professional multi-zone audio system at The Bierkeller, London Bridge, creating a flexible audio solution across this large hospitality and entertainment venue. The project covers the Main Bar, TV Areas, Mini Golf, Go Kart Area and Private Hire/Dining Area, with equipment from Ecler and Bose Professional selected to suit the individual requirements of each space.

Ecler Audio – Main Bar & TV Areas

For the busy Main Bar and TV areas, we specified Ecler eMOTUS5OD loudspeakers, providing high-quality distributed audio throughout these key customer areas. The wider venue, including the Mini Golf and Go Kart areas, features a combination of Ecler AMBIT106 and AMBIT108 loudspeakers, providing the additional output and coverage required within the entertainment spaces.

System Equipment

  • Ecler AURA-4B300 four-channel amplifier
  • Ecler DAM614 digital audio mixer/processor
  • Ecler WPaBT Bluetooth wall receiver
  • 3 x Ecler WPaVOL-SR wall-mounted volume/source controllers
  • 1 x Ecler WPaVOL-SR-J wall-mounted controller
  • Ecler PLAYER ONE MicroSD network audio player, providing streaming and AirPlay functionality

This provides The Bierkeller team with a professional and easy-to-operate audio platform, with local control available where required throughout the venue.

Bose Professional – Private Dining & Hire Area

For the Private Dining and Hire Area, the client selected the fantastic Bose Professional DesignMax DM5SE loudspeakers. These are powered by a Bose Professional Veritas 2160BL two-channel low-impedance amplifier, with a BoseCC-1 zone controller providing straightforward local control.

The DesignMax range was an excellent choice for this area, combining the sound quality required for a premium private space with a clean architectural appearance.

A dimly lit arcade with colourful lights, vintage arcade machines, a pool table in the distance, and wooden walls adorned with signs and decorations—a hidden gem reminiscent of a classic London pub near London Bridge.

Formula 1 Sound Trigger – Go Kart Area

One of our favourite features of the project is within the Go Kart area. We incorporated a dedicated mushroom push button linked to a Formula 1-style sound alarm, allowing the venue to trigger the effect as part of the go-kart experience.

It is a relatively small part of the overall AV installation, but one that adds another layer of interaction and atmosphere to the customer experience.
