Excite Technology transformed the audio experience at The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead, with a Bose Professional multi-zone audio system. The solution provides crystal-clear announcements and high-quality background music across the venue’s key areas.

Project Overview

One of Excite Technology’s flagship audio installations, this project transformed the audio experience throughout The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead.

We designed and installed a Bose Professional multi-zone audio solution serving the main ski slope, restaurant, viewing gallery, public areas, boot change facilities and two meeting rooms.

The solution delivers crystal-clear announcements together with high-quality background music across the venue.

The Challenge

The venue required a modern commercial audio system capable of providing consistent coverage across acoustically challenging spaces including the indoor ski slope, hospitality areas and public circulation zones.

The solution needed to be reliable, easy for staff to operate and installed with minimal disruption.

Our Solution

Excite Technology designed and commissioned a complete Bose Professional audio solution with independent audio zones, centralised DSP and amplification, local wall controls and dedicated Bluetooth meeting room systems.

Existing ageing loudspeakers were replaced and new infrastructure installed where required.

Installation

The project was delivered during July and August 2026.

Gareth Thomas managed the project from planning through commissioning, coordinating installation works, equipment replacement, system programming, DSP tuning, testing, staff training and final handover.

The Result

The completed installation has transformed the customer experience throughout The SnowCentre.

Visitors benefit from balanced background music, highly intelligible announcement sand consistent audio coverage across every area of the venue, while staff enjoy intuitive control of multiple independent zones from a centralised Bose Professional platform.
