Excite Technology Ltd was delighted to be selected to design, supply and install a professional BOSE audio system for The Solt Room, an exciting new venue located in Hackney, London. Following a detailed on-site survey and consultation with the client, we designed an audio solution that would provide exceptional sound quality while complementing the venue’s unique character and intended use.

Overview

Excite Technology Ltd was delighted to be selected to design, supply and install a professional BOSE audio system for The Solt Room, an exciting new venue located in the heart of Hackney, London.

Following a detailed on-site survey and consultation with the client, our team carefully assessed the venue’s layout, acoustics and operational requirements to develop a bespoke audio solution. The objective was to deliver exceptional sound quality throughout the space while complementing the venue’s unique character, aesthetic and intended use.

From the initial design phase through to installation and commissioning, every aspect of the system was tailored to provide reliable performance, intuitive day-to-day operation and an immersive audio experience for both guests and staff.

Flexible Audio Connectivity

To give the venue maximum flexibility for future events, we also installed a twin XLR input plate within the main room.

This allows performers, DJs and event organisers to connect microphones, mixing consoles and live music equipment quickly and easily without the need for temporary cabling, creating a professional solution suitable for live performances, spoken word events, presentations and private functions.

BOSE Professional Audio System

The main event space, measuring approximately 10m x 10m and featuring a distinctive archway design, required an audio system capable of delivering clear, balanced coverage throughout the room. To achieve this, we specified and installed a BOSE Professional FreeSpace 3 audio system consisting of:

  • One BOSE FreeSpace 3 bass moduleFour BOSE FreeSpace 3 satellite loudspeakers.
  • Professional amplification and system configuration.
  • Complete cabling and infrastructure.

The combination of the venue’s soft furnishings and the carefully designed loudspeaker layout creates a warm, immersive sound, providing excellent performance for background music, private events and live entertainment.

Another Happy Client

The project was managed by Gareth Thomas, with Gareth and Carl carrying out the installation on 6th July 2026. Our client, Fola, was extremely pleased with the finished installation and the quality of the sound system.

As The Solt Room prepares to open to the public in late August 2026, we look forward to seeing the venue come to life and are excited to receive further photographs once the fit-out has been completed.

Professional Installation

Following completion of our system design and marked wiring drawings, the project’s first-fix cabling was completed by the client’s electrical contractor.

Our in-house engineering team then returned to complete the second-fix installation, hardware mounting, system configuration, testing and commissioning, ensuring every aspect of the installation met Excite Technology Ltd’s high standards.
